When thinking about writing my bio and sharing with my future clients a little bit about myself, I found myself reflecting on my own journey with mental health, relationships, hardships...my struggles with body image and food, coming from a broken family, and navigating anxiety throughout life transitions has led me to the supportive and nurturing world of therapy. This field has my heart, and I am so grateful and humbled to be able to do this type of work!
Navigating the changes and circumstances that we are faced with can be complicated, draining, and frustrating. At times, I have found myself searching for answers and solutions throughout my own journey with . While solutions and answers can be important, I have found that where I was able to find growth and peace has come from having the safe space to speak my TRUTH and feel HEARD. That in itself has been the most transformative part of my journey. The power of a supportive listener, a safe space, and a great conversation is the beauty of therapy that has helped me on my own personal journey. I am here to provide exactly that to the clients that I work with.
I have had the joy of working with individuals and families for the past 5 years. Providing safe spaces for mostly teens and families, I have had the opportunity to have conversations with adolescents, families, and adults processing sexuality and gender identity, difficult life transitions, and relational conflicts.
The steps I have taken in order to maintain my joy in life and my passion for learning have led me to walk alongside others as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Relationships, connection, fulfillment, and being able to support one another are at the core of my being.
You aren't alone in your journey and you deserve to exist in spaces where your voice can be heard, respected, and cared for.
