My name is Natesha Williams, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate & Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, supervised by Julia Araud, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, License # 66848 working at Cypress Counseling & Behavioral Center, proudly recognized as the Best Therapy Services in Cy-Fair.

My Story:

I gravitated towards counseling and education because I wanted to help people and make the world a better place. After college, I worked as a therapist in drug rehabilitation centers where I had the opportunity to help individuals overcome their addictions by exploring their past and establishing healthy coping mechanisms. I also had the opportunity to help their children and families process the trauma associated with their addiction. During this time, I discovered I had a particular soft spot for working with children and decided to transition into public education where I worked with children facing a range of challenges. Helping young children learn how to navigate and cope with adversity was one of the most rewarding experiences and I will always cherish my time as an educator. In my free time, I love to read and spend time with my family.

My Training & Approach:

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, my approach to therapy begins by crafting our sessions to be a safe space for you to openly communicate about anything that is standing in your way of healing or self-fulfillment. I'm here to actively listen without judgment and support you in reaching your personal goals. I will tailor each session to your needs and use various therapeutic approaches to move you on a forward trajectory toward personal growth.
